Conversation is more important than details. Brings people in more.
In environments food, drink and eating are very important. Its of the norm and makes people feel as if it really is a real place.
First engagement for characters in a place is food- usually
Conflict from world situation
Writing on the food in my Land of Oz
During the adventure to Oz we soaked up our nutrients from the camels hide. It wasn't just his sweat that se soaked up it was the nutrients that filtered through the shaggy man's coat of fur. As water bugs we also found nutrients through the previous dead bugs that has both survived the Shaggy Man's odor. His deep thick fur had accumulated enough food source tho last us till we had achieved turning Oz around his fur was also what kept us warm after hours of journeying and food comas. As a micro organism there really weren't any specified times to ear so we just did it whenever we felt like it.
Conversation Over Food
Bill
Look at all this food its just accumulate for so long that we could gorge ourselves till kingdom come.
Till
You think of only whats good for you maybe we need to look past our own personal interests and think about our plan and how to actually achieve breaking down the witch.
Places
The Winkies old town was so dingy from all the dust that there new with had kicked up. The dust could have also been from the dead bodies she churned up as she went across the country killing Winkies and trying to make them become zombies. The people that tried to escape and go to the desert didn't get very far because she sent some of the fury bodies of the dwellers flying into the desert to set fire to the flying carpets that they were fleeing on. The ash was still in the air enough to blanket the smell of the fungus rotten brains of its new inhabitants. The floor was also mushy from the over come Winkies and the ash that moved in with their decaying bodies. Some had survived though but looked as if they were going to die soon. To think that the hard working Winkies were once builders and creators. Now just sad little zombies waiting for death. The city got hardly any sun because of the tin covering their town. The bugs that were once the countrymen of the Land of Oz was also used for a food source for the Chameleons of death that the new witch had bestowed upon as minions. Her right hand help was Philous the ant eater who sucked up nutrients faster than her queen.
Political Structure
Powerful
The new wicked witch is the most powerful but the henchman Philous the ant eater is the second in command. Under them are the Chameleons, they are the ones who get the work done but in order to get them place to place they use pigeons. Pigeons aren't too smart but they are useful in directions and not running into walls.
Weak
The once dwellers of Oz are weak because they are turned into mush/are dead/zombie bugs.
Wants In Power
Bill wants to be in control and powerful. He would probably take over since Oz was squished in the fiery bug episode.
Who has magic/super powers/ how does it work
The new wicked witch has the super powers of turning everyone into fungus brained bugs. She dispersed the change into the air and when sound reverberations accumulate the poison dispersed.
User effected -Manifestation of power weakens and world
The new witch made the poison by draining her blood till almost death then waiting 7 years to make it into powdered form. The pigeons are then strapped with crates to disperse across the land's. Still the vibrations are needed to make the poison work. Specific reverberations.
Remix- rituale important
Philous the ant eater wasn't aways a henchman. She was once part of a family that loved sport and adventure. She would go yearly to the biggest ant hill in Oz and see mountains on the way there. Getting there was half of the fun and being with family was the most important part. It wasn't just about getting some sweet ants. These ants were different too. Their nutrients were better for their bodies, but the land only made enough for 1 trip a year. These bugs were also a breed that only lived in the mountains as they were really hardy.

Emperor Quino was a weak man who directed many people to concur the new world. Mentally strong he swayed people very easily. Consuming far away cultures with just a mere few words or a flick of his decrepit hand. Powerful in only his stature. Consuming because of his fear of losing his once influential physique had begun to dissipate in the winds of time long ago. His presence in his kingdom was left to voicing his governing rule as a person does to an ant under the thumb.
The Land of Oz Undercover
On our way to the Land of Oz we were in stealth
mode. Oz had become very hard to come by. In order for us to do our work in Oz
we had to find a crazy new route. Moving across the Deadly Dessert by foot was
the only way we were going to be able to get in. We were able to pass through
The Deadly Desert by going through the stones that the wicked witch
of the west had put up. So we took the risky road, slipping through the
middle of two stones, which made it possible by canceling each other out. Otherwise
the mission wouldn't have been a success.
Our team consisted of three fairy beavers
from the Land of Ev: Till, Phil, and me (Bill). Our team was responsible for
finding out what was going down in the Land of Oz. In order to pass the desert
we had to be in disguised as bugs in order to fit in and survive until we hit
the Land of Oz. Till was a Waterbear, Phil became a Fairy Shrimp and I became a
Sea Monkey. Till's newly formed body was that of a slightly over stuffed
teddy bear with multiple arms. Phil's form had beady little eyes, a
thin C shaped body and many arms. This made it possible for him to lie out
his back and curl into a little ball whenever there came trouble. I
was turned into a robust, fierce, T-rex like body that exuded my personal way
of life. Courage.
On the way across the desert we came across a
camel. The Oat straw in his mouth, the shaggy flowing course hair,
kind smirk and blue eyes that weren't of any other camel. It was indeed the
Shaggy Man. Maybe the apple sack on him gave us another clue as to
who he was. Plus who else knows how to save people and get them across the
Deadly Desert like Shaggy Man? Shaggy Man grunted for us to jump on
his camel hump and ride until we hit Winkie Country. It was a good thing that
we had found our dear friend Shaggy Man because as bugs we needed some source
of moister to be conscious. We lived off of Shaggy Man's camel hump
sweat. It was a glorious trip, full of the sweet smell of mystery. Which could have also been whatever Shaggy Man rolled in last month.
On the way there Phil scrupulously saw oddly
shaped sand dunes, "there! Waaa, Waaa tis thaaaaaat?". There was just
enough moon light for me to make out what it was. I replied, "those
odd shapes are bodies of Winkies!! It looked as though there was a
mass exodus, and they were trying to leave the mountains in any way
possible." Till piped up and said, "Strewn across the sands there are
pieces of magic carpets. I hope that there is some of their kin left.
The Land of Oz shall never be the same without them. All their cheery
disposition and hard working souls will be gone forever and missed
dearly".
All of a sudden cricket chirps rang out in the
darkness. Allegro da Capo had begun to signal us into the newly
changed Winkie Country. His loud crisp notes were very easy and distinguished.
When we got to the city we noticed that it was turned into a tin fortress. The little
Winkies had made a fortress out of all the tin available in the country. With
all their hard work they covered the city in tin. Everything was still
yellow, but the place was more like okra yellow with all the dreariness
since it was vacated.
This is a real life encounter of the pompous
Bill. He was courageous, but couldn't let anyone close in. Till,
as a Waterbear, is the one that cares for the well being of those around him,
as he is really secretive, but at his core is warm, generous and dependable.
The pompous Bill was abusive in his friendship with Till the
Waterbear. The Land of Oz had been taken over by a new and much harsher
witch. She had morphed everyone into bugs to better manipulate their
minds. Just like the zombie ant fungus, the genus Ophiocordyceps. Even
though there are many of them in comparison to her, being so small their
numbers meant nothing compared to the nature of her force. The Shaggy Man
had been turned into a camel by one of the fairies so that when the time
came someone from the outside of Oz could conquer the problems that
had surfaced from within. The newly overcome Land of Oz was a dingy place
covered with bugs.
